Web performance management

Keeping tabs on things...

Web Performance Management, or WPM, is the collection, reporting and analysis of website data. Eonic's focus is to identify measures based on your organisational and user goals. Using this data, we determine the relative success of those goals to help drive strategy and refine the overall user experience.

Critical to developing relevant and effective WPM is creating objectives and calls-to-action (CTAs) from your organisational and site visitors goals, and identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the relative success of those objectives and CTAs.

All our WPM packages feature a monthly report that analyses the KPIs that are best suited to your goals, depending on the type of campaigns you're running. Parameters are set for each statistic so that if any fall below pre-agreed, acceptable levels, Eonic are quick to respond and recommend appropriate measures.

The monthly report gives you clear insights, freeing up your time to focus on running your business. Each report is completely bespoke, unique to each client and revolves around our documented 5 step monthly plan...

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Here are some of the KPIs we track, depending on what your website is designed to achieve.

  • How many visitors, unique and total
  • Which sources your visitors arrived from
  • What keywords your visitors used to find you
  • Keyword rank tracking
  • Goals and funnels
  • Pay-Per-Click performance, if required
  • Recommendations
  • Overall summary

Monitor wizards

Measuring digital marketing performance starts with the right measurement system. The de facto standard for website tracking is Google Analytics. Its free to use and it’s constantly updated with new data and features to keep even our most experienced digital marketeers happy.

The web performance experts at Eonic monitor your sites' optimisation needs, evaluate and help maintain a goal-orientated program to improve digital performance, protect brand image, reduce lost sales, and maximise online customer experience. It's the perfect recipe to enable your business to grow online, as well as stay aligned with your company's offline marketing efforts.

Over the years, we have worked with many businesses. As we’ve run different types of campaigns, in different markets, with different types of segmentation and targeting, we have been able to establish some key performance benchmarks – particularly for new customer acquisition.

Some thoughts on measuring web performance

Just because a marketing activity can’t be measured perfectly doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be considered. That said, Eonic always work towards connecting the dots between digital marketing activity and revenue. Advances in web analytics software and methodologies provide better insight for measuring activity over time and across different devices.

Marketing is about generating revenue. It’s not [necessarily] about art, humour, or even creativity. We're serious about running efficient and profitable campaigns and being laser-focused on that mission. Implementing reporting based on a cost-per-action, and treating it as the “golden metric” for web marketing activity, focuses our team on the ultimate outcome: developing your business.
